Let me start this post off by saying I love a good weekend brunch. I live for a great breakfast and some hot coffee (with almond milk of course). For such a tiny person I know how to eat and I have no shame in that. Sometimes I’ll even eat a snack before my meal or while I’m preparing dinner. You get it I love food… I wanted to share a few of my favorite brunch places in Boston for all of the readers who aren’t from this area. I personally like going to the South End for brunch.
My favorite spot is South End Buttery on Shawmut Ave. Their garlic parm fries are the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and photos of dogs are placed throughout the space. The weekends are very hectic so reserving a spot for brunch is necessary. Tremont 647 is another spot I love. Their brunch and dinner are absolutely delicious. Every time I go here I’m never disappointed. Also, they have a tasty fried chicken meal my boyfriend and I are obsessed with.
One weekend I tried to eat at Stephi’s on Tremont and it was full. So I crossed the street and had brunch at Metropolis. Since then I’ve grown to love the place and the diner like feel it has going on. *side note* Can I fill you guys in on something? So a few weeks ago I tried to use this face wash and moisturizer, I won’t say the brand but my face broke out TERRIBLY! If you find a beauty routine and products don’t ever switch it up. For about a year I’ve used Glossier cleanser and coconut oil I get from Amazon. Anyways… I would love to meet people who are obsessed with brunch like me? What are some of your favorite brunch spots around the U.S or wherever you may be?!

Two weeks until September and it’s so crazy to think how fast the summer months have gone by. Designers have released their fall campaigns and websites have started selling fall clothes. I’m excited to shop for new leather booties and chunky knit sweaters. I really like the Fendi ankle booties the most. They’re casual and look super comfortable. I’m really starting to fall in love with Need Supply Co. Their website is so simple and clean and the items they sell really stand out to me. Their new fall arrivals are gorgeous too! What are some of your favorite place to shop during the fall? I love Zara, Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and H&M. Check out some of my favorite pieces below. Hope you enjoy!

So far I’m loving the weather in August and I hope it stays like this until mid-September. My favorite part about August is when the sun goes down and there’s a cool breeze that reminds me that fall is very close but NOT that close you know. My heart broke a little when I saw Halloween decorations out in TJ Maxx! I’m really not ready for summer to end I want it to last forever. I’m trying to enjoy my weekends as much as I can before I have to bundle up again for a few months.
Last Sunday Newbury Street shut down the roads allowing pedestrians to walk in the street. If you’re from Boston you know how annoying the sidewalks on Newbury Street are during the summer. Packed with people and tourist, it’s awful if you’re there to do some serious shopping. It was the perfect summer day for lunch outside and a walk through the park. This Primark dress was only $9 and the shoes were $19. The purse is from Asos, I bought it a few years ago but Asos has really good deals when it comes to their purse selection.
I really fell in love with these Primark platforms in the store. I think the peach color is perfect for summer and it makes your pedicure look 100 times better. Where did you guys pick up your favorite little white dress? I would love to know!!

Iced coffee is the best way to start your morning in the summer. I wanted to try different ways to make my iced coffee fun and delicious and I found this recipe for coffee ice cubes. You probably have seen them all over Pinterest so if you have an ice-cube tray and left over coffee you should make some!! The first step of course is to make the coffee. It doesn’t matter what the brand is just make sure it’s cooled off before you pour it into the tray. Let the coffee cubes sit overnight.
Honestly Yum (link provided below) used chocolate powder but I prefer chocolate sauce. Warm 1 cup of milk and pour it into a cup and stir until the chocolate sauce is all mixed in. Next put as many coffee cubes as you want in your cup. Finally add your milk to the cup and make sure it’s warm so the coffee cubes can melt a little. Enjoy!
also my boyfriend takes all of my photos because he’s the best 🙂

Welcoming the month of August with a new set of my favorite pins. The month of July flew by! I can’t help but think about how close fall is. My Pinterest is filled with beautiful photos lately which is giving me a lot of inspiration when it comes to photography and my blog. I really love the pom pom trend happening and I think these heels are gorgeous with a few pom poms on them. I also like how they’re paired with white dress pants. The second photo is of a JORD wood watch. I’m working on a collaboration with them and I’m really excited to review it for everyone.
The third picture is a small preview into my fall Pinterest board. I really need a new fall coat and I’ve always loved this style paired with a simple turtle neck and some booties. The fourth picture is a cute shirt dress with tassels on the bottom. I have a similar dress from Mango and I love it. I like to see different versions of shirt dresses and the tassels add some flare. Picture 5 is something I wish I could have if I wasn’t so bad at taking care of flowers. I love flowers but I’m terrible at keeping them alive. I’m making it a goal of mine to finally keep my flowers alive!
Photo number 6 is a floral romper that would be a super cute look for date night during the summer. Picture 7 is some beach inspiration I added to my personal style board . The thought of all white on the beach is so calming to me. Flowing culottes, sun hats, and loose camis is the perfect beach look. I really want to find the perfect pair of fringe jeans but I can’t seem to find an affordable pair. This look in the 8th picture is something I would totally wear during the fall. Also UGH I don’t want to think about fall right now. The last picture is cute cami slip dress with a basic tee. I think I’ll try this look out during the fall months. To see all of my pins make sure to follow me here!
I’ve always dreamed of having a personal stylist handle my wardrobe. Sometimes picking out outfits and buying clothes can be so dreadful and that’s where Trunk Club comes in. When Trunk Club reached out to me I was so excited! I’ve followed this service for a while now and I’m so happy I got to try it first hand. How does it work?
1. Sign up and get connected with a personal stylist who will reach out to you by phone or e-mail to understand your clothing needs.
2. You’ll then receive an e-mail from your stylist with items you can expect in your trunk.
3. Confirm the clothing selected for you then expect a trunk full of clothes in the mail. What’s great is that you’re only charged for the clothing you keep. No extra fees!
Trunk Club’s stylist want to know who you are and your personal unique style. Services like this push you to try different items you normally wouldn’t look at in the store. Trunk Club has clubhouses in Dallas, DC, LA, and NYC if you want to meet with a stylist in person and get the ultimate experience. The one thing I loved most is that my stylist really wanted to listen to me. It’s very rare that you get the chance to talk with someone one on one and tell them what you like or dislike about your wardrobe. I hope you enjoy my favorite outfits from the trunk below!

This is my normal look on a daily basis. I do wear dresses and skirts a lot at work or on the weekends but this is my everyday look. I like to keep it casual and comfortable since it’s the summer and I really hate being hot, it makes me so grumpy. Normally I wear jeans, a cute top, my Keds or flats to work. I really don’t like wearing my nice clothes to work. And when I say my nice clothes I mean my over the top dresses or heels. I really don’t want to wear 6 inch heels for 8 hours.
I found these mint green mules at the Gilt Warehouse sale for 30 dollars. Mules are the most comfortable shoe for me to walk in and I’m really glad I bought these. I was debating between these shoes and black boots that would be perfect for fall but they didn’t fit around my ankles. I normally wouldn’t buy green shoes but this color is so fun. I had an obsession with this color green in high school but I never really fed into it.
This outfit was a complete steal. I got these pants at Old Navy for $15 dollars and the shirt at Loft for $19.50. If you’re currently looking for comfy weekend pants ( is that even a thing?) these are the pants you want. They are easy to throw on with a t-shirt and some sandals too. On another note I have a really fun collaboration coming up soon and I’m really excited to share it with you! Follow me on Instagram to keep up.

It’s summer time so there’s no harm in writing multiple blog post about the beach. Many of us will be on the beach every weekend so we need a place to find some beach day inspiration. I’m always browsing for new bikinis, sun hats, cover-ups (you name it, I have it saved in my bookmarks). Recently I came across Adore Me and they have such a great selection of bathing suits for all sizes in a variety of different prints and styles. I personally love a two piece bikini. The Melodie two piece has the crochet style with a mix of colors to make that tan pop. Another favorite is the Joanna Push-Up two piece bikini, I really like the stripe detail and the different shades of blue.
Adore Me has tons of bathing suits to choose from so I’m sure you’ll fall in love with one. Check out their swim collection here and the hashtag #beachdaymusts on Instagram to see what everyone is bringing to the beach.

Here I am wearing another print! I seriously can’t get enough of colors and prints this summer. Bright colors work with my skin tone so I had to get this Old Navy cami dress. I have a sense when Old Navy is having a sale and that’s how I ended up with this dress. I love that the Old Navy’s clothing has transitioned over the years, adapting to the times and current trends. Old Navy literally has everything you need for every occasion. These Kate Spade heels are new and looked really great with the dress so it made sense to pair them with the outfit. I found the heels at the Gilt warehouse sale in Boston, they were originally $350 and I bought them for $70.
Make sure to check out the Old Navy’s website to see what’s new on clearance or weekly discounts. I’m a discount shopper and I’m always on the hunt for a good deal. When I purchased this dress it was $15. Besides the dress selection at Old Navy I also really like their fitness line. I like to wear my workout clothes around the house during the summer. Boston summers can be super humid so I need comfortable clothing. Some of my favorite picks here, here, and here!

A few weeks ago Rue la la had a pop up event on Newbury street with blogger Jacey Duprie of Damsel in Dior. I just got back from France the night before so I was extremely jet-lagged but I was determined to meet her so I sucked it up and went. Cotton and Rue la la collaborated on a limited edition capsule collection filled wit dresses, rompers and t-shirts. I saw this polka dotted shirt dress on Jacey and I decided to try it on. Everyone on the Cotton team told me to get the dress, It looked so great on me. I don’t think I ever owned anything with polka dots on it but they were really tiny so I could deal with it.
When I first saw this dress I felt like I should be at a beach house in The Hamptons sipping on some cold Rosé, which doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I tried the dress on and ran towards the Ipad station to pre-order it! The dress is longer available but you can click the link below to take a look at other Alicia Bell shirt dresses.
