Here’s part 10 of my favorite pin series and this is in substitute for my weekly roundup. I created a favorite pins holiday post last year and it was just so colorful and fun that I wanted to do another one. These pins aren’t just for Christmas because you can keep this going until the New Year. Holiday cookies can be a year-round thing and who doesn’t love the fresh smell of pine like in picture 1 and 2. Sugar cookies are my favorite but I’ve never tried them with cream cheese frosting. Georgetown cupcakes adds cream cheese frosting on their cupcakes and it’s phenomenal so I know this will probably be delicious.
In picture 3 the cute brownie reindeer dessert is so cute. Wouldn’t that be the perfect thing to serve at a get together with friends? Plus who doesn’t love brownies?! If you don’t we can’t be friends. Just kidding we can! In picture 4 is the perfect skirt for a party. I would wear it with a bold chunky knit sweater. I would do the same thing with the skirt in picture 5. I just love bold dramatic skirts and red is my favorite color to wear during the holidays. Another fun way to add some drama to the holidays is to wear some sequins like this skirt Julia from Gal Meets Glam is wearing. What are you looking forward to the most this holiday season? I’m excited to spend time with family and eat delicious food on Christmas day. Links to these photos are down below. Happy Holidays everyone!

I’m really trying to wrap things up but I know I’ll be scrambling to get everything together like always. I have some really cool articles to share with you today so your Friday can start and end well. Grab a hot cup a coffee and enjoy. I’m heading to New York today with my dad for the weekend. I’m really excited to be back in the city and eat great food and enjoy the sights.
1.The lack of diversity on magazine covers in 2017
I read an article on Fashionista.com about the decline of diversity on magazine covers this year. I have high hopes for 2018 and these publications. Hopefully, they can feature women of all ethnicities… Fingers crossed! Read the article here.
2. Weekend trip to New York
I’m spending the weekend in New York with my dad and I’m pretty excited about it. We have dinner planned at Red Rooster in Harlem and this restaurant is delicious. You need to book reservations a week in advance because it gets so packed but I mean it when I say this place is AMAZING. Click here to check it out. I’ll probably just walk around and enjoy the sights and I’ll find my favorite waffle truck. I’ve been following this truck since my days at St John’s! Find it here.
3. The Influencer Podcast, episode 5
On episode 5 Julie talks to Deanna Ritter who is the Business Development Manager at ShopStyle! It’s a great conversation with some helpful tips if you’re looking to grow your blog through affiliate marketing. Here is a link to her website so you can download the podcast.
4. Weekend sales

5. Pre-Fall 2018
I’m sitting here on Vogue Runway looking at clothes I can’t afford but a girl can dream. I watched influencers Instagram Stories from the Koché show at Strand Bookstore and it was dreamy. Here are a few of my favorite looks.
*I received these products from the L’Occitane team. All opinions are my own*
The best kind of gifts are beauty gifts am I right? I really enjoy getting new things to try out during this season and brands make really cute holiday packaging for their products. I’m a huge fan of L’Occitane products and I was lucky enough to receive some of their gift sets to feature on my blog. If you’re stuck on what to get someone from Christmas and they love really REALLY great products I suggest you purchase one of these gift sets for someone. Every single product I have tried from L’Occitane has been so different in a good way.
I’m always trying new lotions or face creams and my skin loves it. Everything that I use makes my skin so soft and youthful looking. I’m only 26 but you know what I mean! And the prices are great so it’s worth it. It’s like I’m having a spa day at home every time I open a new product from L’Occitane. Click the links below to check out the new holiday products. If you’re looking for beauty products under 50 and you want a variety I would check out TJ Maxx. The one on Boylston St. in Boston has such a huge selection and all of the small soaps and body wash would make perfect stocking stuffers. Happy Holidays everyone!

I want to throw a Christmas party this year so I thought this would be a great time to showcase some fun holiday looks. J.Jill sent me this dress along with some other winter goodies and I thought it would be perfect to wear to a party! Dress it up with some accessories like these tassel earrings from H&M and some heels. I’ve had these Vince heels forever and they match perfectly with the dress. I linked some affordable dress options below just in case you’re looking for something cute to wear to a work holiday party or to a party of your own. I also linked my J.Jill dress below too. I’m wearing a size small and it’s still a little big on me. My shoes are Vince but I bought them at Nordstrom rack on sale.

Hi everyone! I looked through a few of my favorite websites and put together some items that I want this Cyber Monday. First up are the clothes of course. I know these stores will have awesome Cyber Monday deals so I wanted to link some cute winter items like jackets, off the shoulder sweaters, and denim. The Forever 21 jacket below is perfect for a casual outfit with some booties and a chunky sweater. It’s only $37.90 so I know this item will sell out super fast. The red jeans from H&M are also a favorite. I don’t have colorful denim and my boyfriend put the idea in my head to invest in a few pieces. That chunky scarf from Express is everywhere and I NEED that pink one. Isn’t it perfect?
The Shein makeup bags are adorable and great for traveling. I have a cosmetics bag from IT Cosmetics but I could always use more. The eyelash bags are my favorite and they’re $6 dollars, you won’t find that anywhere else. I also added Uniqlo slippers because you could never have enough slippers at home. The tasseled Baublebar earrings are a must for your New Years Eve outfit and they are on sale too. Let me know which item is your favorite. Feel free to click the links directly and shop this page. Welcome back to my weekly roundup series. It’s been a while but I have some fun things to share with you guys. First off let’s talk about how we just skipped fall here in Boston and jumped right into winter. I will not be shocked if I wake up to snow on the ground soon. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas I love the holidays! The decor and all of the food, I can’t wait to have a full belly and to be surrounded by family.
1. Beauty updates
-I received some packages from Patchology and a brand called L’Bri. I love skincare so I was so excited to open all of this. Patchology sent over a new sleep mask moisturizer to put on after you get out of the shower. I woke up and my skin was soft and smooth! L’bri reached out to me to send over some products for me to try. Of course, I was open to trying new products and discovering new brands. As soon as I got the package I used the face and body scrub along with the body wash. First impressions were amazing. The face scrub smelled a little off but it made my face and body feel really soft. The body wash smells like cucumber and it was my favorite along with the cucumber body butter. I used it with a loofa they put inside the package so it was a great shower. I haven’t tried the face products yet but I’ll make sure to put it in a review soon.

Pinterest is my favorite place for DIY food recipes! I found this Twix Cookie recipe and I have to make them because I LOVE TWIX! It’s my favorite candy bar ever.
*throwback find of the week* J.crew sequined skirt – Another favorite HERE
I love to add some drama to my outfits and I felt like these earrings from Primark were the perfect thing my outfit needed. I was heading to an event so I wanted to keep my outfit casual. I wore my red J.Crew turtleneck, Forever 21 skinny jeans, and my tan loafers from Zara. My Primark earrings made this outfit pop and I’m glad I have these in my jewelry collection. They were only $3.50 so of course, I bought some other things while I was there. It’s not hard to rack up a bill at Primark since the prices are so great.
I have a cart full of Bauble Bar earrings online and I want to press complete order but I figured I would wait for a huge Black Friday sale to happen. Baublebar released these earring gift sets and I’m in LOVE! It’s a perfect holiday gift for your girlfriends who love accessories. My favorite gift sets are this one and this one! At first, these earrings look SO extra but trust me they are perfection. I had a pair that I loved but my dog ruined them, UGHH! I think everyone should get themselves some statement earrings. I promise you’ll love how they make you feel. I linked some options below!

*This post is in collaboration with Clarisonic. All opinions are my own*
Over the past few weeks, I have used the Clarisonic Mia 1 in my skincare routine. I purchased a Clarisonic a few years ago and I was really satisfied with the results and I recommended it to all of my friends. I was really happy to partner with Clarisonic to show my readers my current skincare routine. I’ve used my Clarisonic Mia 1 for a few weeks now and I wanted to share my honest opinion with you guys! The first few days I used the Mia 1 along with a cleanser that came in the package to see how my face would react.
In about two days I stopped using the cleanser that came with the Clarisonic because my skin started to break out. Instead, I used my First Aid Beauty cleanser and followed up with the First Aid Beauty moisturizer. I have very sensitive skin so I should’ve never risked it! The First Aid Beauty cleanser is gentle enough for me. Clarisonic feels so good to use after a long work day and your skin feels oily and dirty. I was fortunate enough to get two different brush heads to try out. I received the acne brush head and the deep pore cleansing brush head. Her Campus is running a promo that gives you %15 off all devices featured here. Use the code HERCAMPUS to receive this promo. What do you guys use in your skincare routine? I’m always looking for new stuff to try so I would love recommendations!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Omg, it’s November! I really can’t believe there’s one month left of 2017! After the 4th of July time just flies by for me. Do you guys feel that way or is it just me? Summer seems so far away now but it’s finally getting somewhat cool here. So let’s whip out those coats and sweaters and finally embrace this fall weather. I wanted to start this month with part 9 of my favorite pins series which is my absolute favorite. I love sharing trends I’m feeling right now with my readers.
This post was inspired by a velvet top I received from the J.Jill team that I will be shooting soon along with some other things. I’m really into this trend right now so I wanted to put together a collage of my favorite picks I found on Pinterest. Follow my board here to see other things I pinned. How do you feel about velvet right now? From what I’ve seen some people love it and some people are on the fence. Let me know in the comments below! Also if there’s anything I should check out this season feel free to share that also. I’m always looking for new things to wear.
