I have found so many great items thrift shopping but so far my favorite has to be this yellow J.Crew coat I found in New Hampshire. The coat cost $25 dollars and it’s like brand new after I put it in the cleaners. If you shop at J.Crew then you know the coats can cost up to $300. I’ve never bought a coat this color before and I’m liking it. I definitely stand out on the street too.
The jacket is mostly wool so it’s extremely warm and I love the length too. I wore it for the first time on Thanksgiving day to grab coffee at Dunkin and it was so cozy! Thrift stores like Buffalo Exchange and Goodwill have so many J.Crew finds so check out those stores before you purchase a jacket full price. I’m definitely a fan of the fun and festive jackets at J.Crew. I also really like the stadium-cloth cocoon coat in spiced orange. Click the links below to see some more of my favorite jacket picks.

The holidays are so close I can taste it, Literally! Thanksgiving is next week and Christmas is right around the corner. My two favorite holidays filled with love, food, and decorations. I plan on bringing my Pumpkin Bars to Thanksgiving this year because my mother loved them so much. It’s the perfect treat after dinner. They’re very easy to make and there’s no mess. I’m all for easy clean up and simple recipes during the holidays.
I want to get creative this Christmas so this year I will wrap my gifts in the cutest way (or attempt to). #2 on the list is from Almostmakesperfect.com . I want to recreate this decoration style for my holiday gifts this year. I’m not sure how it’ll turn out since I’m not the best at DIY projects. Number 3 on the list is a little treat I plan on making just for fun. It’s an easy no-bake recipe for Christmas sugar cookie truffle balls.
Number 4 is a cute little treat to bring to the office or a holiday party. The little reindeer are so cute! I never dress up for the holidays but I would totally wear this red Free People sweater. The red is perfect for the holidays and you can still be casual at family parties. Lasty, number 6 is nail art! I wish I could do something like this. My nails would be filled with designs all the time!

I can finally cross horseback riding off my to-do list! I’ve wanted to go for so long now and when I finally pulled up to Charmingfare farm in Candia, NH I knew it would be amazing! The farm is 400 acres and filled with animals! It’s truly a beautiful place and I can’t wait for summer so I can ride again. The trail ride season is over but it’s the perfect date idea if you’re into quaint farms and animals.
They also have some Christmas activities coming up so that could be fun.I wasn’t nervous at all for a first time rider. The horses are calm and they follow each other on the trail. At times my horse strayed off a bit because he hated the mud so I just guided him back in line. Overall I had an eventful weekend and to top it off, the weather on Sunday was beautiful. 60 degrees and warm. My sweater dress was perfect to wear for a trip to the supermarket and snap some pictures on the way. I hope all of you had a great weekend! I’m not afraid to say that I have trouble accessorizing at times. I tend to get bored with items quickly and they end up collecting dust in my jewelry box. I want to break out of the habit of buying jewelry and not wearing it. I’ve always had a thing for necklaces, especially gold necklaces. Gold looks so good on my skin tone and necklaces just make your look pop!
This yellow gold arrow pendant from Michael Hill the perfect addition to my new and improved jewelry collection. This necklace is a great gift for your girlfriend or wife if she likes minimal jewelry like I do. Michael Hill has a gorgeous jewelry collection at affordable prices. Now that the holidays are slowly creeping in, we need to start thinking about what to get our loved ones. Everyone loves jewelry! The 2016 holiday gift shop is now open so stop by the website and pick up some items. I really like this heart pendant, and this rose gold/silver bracelet.

Happy Halloween to all of you who celebrate and dress up!
There’s so much to love about Boston! Born and raised a city girl, It’s exciting to see how much the city has changed over the years. So many new stores to shop at, restaurants to try, and boutiques to discover. There’s also a ton of new apartments popping up in the city and surrounding areas. People are finally starting to notice how exciting Boston is.My favorite time to be in the city is during the fall. The foliage here in the city and up north in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont is so beautiful. If you ever plan to visit Boston in the future I would be happy to share some recommendations. I’m excited to have teamed up with Boohoo to create a Boston City Guide. I’m sharing my favorite go-to restaurants, parks, and neighborhood. Thank you Boohoo for letting me share my favorite parts of Boston with my readers!
1. What neighborhood should people visit and why?
I’ve mentioned this a few times before in previous blog post but the South End is my favorite part of the city. It’s so relaxing and all of my favorite brunch spots are down there. The streets are filled with small boutiques too. If I ever had the chance to move to the South End I would in a heartbeat.
2. The best restaurant for foodies?
Barcelona wine bar is one of my favorite places. The tapas are absolutely delicious! The Brookline location is gorgeous and more spacious.
3. Favorite park?
The Public Garden is my favorite park in the city. The city keeps it so clean and beautiful year round. It’s the perfect spot to sit and eat a quick breakfast and drink some coffee with friends.

I’ve met a few people who tell me they love opening their windows in the fall because they sleep better that way. I do NOT like to be cold!! I love snuggling up in blankets and sweaters during the fall/winter months. I feel bad for anyone who has to touch me during the winter because my hands are like icicles. I’m currently on the hunt for new chunky sweaters and new places to buy them. Once you get in a routine and find the right stores to buy your clothes from it’s so hard to break that habit. Fall has finally set in and it came out of nowhere. I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t prepared at all. I felt that cold breeze and looked at the calendar and saw that October was here. Where did the year go?
Asos is my favorite online retailer so naturally half of my closet is packed with clothes from there. The point is I need somewhere new to buy my fall clothes! Even though I frequently shop at H&M, there’s a large selection of sweaters to choose from so I can always depend on that store. This chunky pink sweater looks so warm and cozy. I love thick turtlenecks so I can snuggle my face inside. I don’t shop at Free People but I really like this chunky sweater too. Where do you guys like to pick up your fall clothes? Leave some suggestions in the comments.
Cardigan: H&M , Boots: Asos, Scarf: Primark, Jeans: H&M, Shirt: Old Navy
This weather is beautiful, isn’t it! I’m in love with this cool fall breeze because I can finally wear my boots. I never know what to expect with this weather but since October is next week, I know I’ll be wearing my boots constantly. I kept a few of my boots in good shape so I don’t need to buy a ton of new shoes. One of my favorite things to do is go shoe shopping so why not dedicate a blog post to the top five shoes I want right now. Click the ShopStyle links below to browse.
Next week I head back to Paris!!! YAY!!! These Asos boots are coming with me on the trip. Comfortable travel shoes are a necessity when you plan on walking around during your vacation. Where are some of your favorite places to buy fall shoes? I like DSW, Asos, and Loft. Also, if you guys have any restaurant or bar recommendations for my trip I would love them!
1.Coach shearling coat 2. Silk Pajama Top 3. Blanket Cape 4. Ankle Booties 5. Tan Slides 6. Check Square Scarf
I love writing my currently craving series because 1. I want every single thing I put on the list and 2. It makes me SO happy to start a new season and find new fashion trends. Right now I really want a shearling coat like this one from Coach. You would assume shearling is heavy and weighs down your shoulders but this coat is the complete opposite. It’s very light and warm, perfect for winter in Boston. I kind of want to buy a silk pajama top like this one from the J.Crew fall collection. People always gravitate towards dark colors during the fall but I like the Warm Almond color the most. I’m not sure if I can pull the look off but it doesn’t hurt to try.
I have one cape from Asos and I want to add another so it won’t be so lonely in my closet. This plaid blanket cape from The Gap might be the perfect addition to my fall collection. I love that the cape comes with a belt so I don’t have to constantly adjust it. I need to buy all new shoes for this season, Sole Society has an affordable selection of fall booties. When I buy fall/winter shoes I wear them until they break. That’s not really a bad thing because it’s money well spent. I really like the tan ankle booties in taupe. Lastly, I’m eyeing these Kristin Cavallari slides in tan! Which one do you guys like best? Tell me and I might end up buying it – LOL!
