Thank you to Capital One for sponsoring this post
Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a #CapXTalk event at the Capital One Back Bay Café. The panel, which focused on investing and impacting the community for good, united leaders from Harpoon Brewery, The Red Sox Foundation and Capital One to discuss how they’re not only giving back to their community but also, improving lives.
I’ve been using a Capital One savings account for about two years now, so I was excited to see what the Back Bay Café was all about. The Cafés popped up in Boston around two years ago and since then, Capital One has opened five locations across the city. Additionally, they recently announced that they will be expanding to Hingham, Lynnfield, and the Seaport in the coming months.
For those who might be unfamiliar with the Café concept, they provide a space where individuals can recharge their bank accounts, devices and lives while learning new ways to manage their finances, try out new digital and financial tools, use their fee-free ATMs, tap into free Wi-Fi, or simply grab a great cup of coffee. Personally, I always get excited for new innovative approaches when it comes to banking, and I love to see Capital One using innovative digital technology to connect with customers and make the banking experience easier.
One of my favorite new tools is the CashTapp ATM machine, which allows you to use your phone to withdraw cash, no pin or card needed. Additionally, Capital One allows you to manage your accounts by using the Amazon Alexa. Through the Amazon integration, you can ask Alexa to check your account balance and even pay your credit card bill!
I’m a huge advocate for Capital One and would definitely encourage you to check out their Cafés here in Boston. If you’re in the Harvard Square area, you can even book a 1:1 money coaching session at their Harvard Square Café.
