*I received these products from the L’Occitane team. All opinions are my own*
The best kind of gifts are beauty gifts am I right? I really enjoy getting new things to try out during this season and brands make really cute holiday packaging for their products. I’m a huge fan of L’Occitane products and I was lucky enough to receive some of their gift sets to feature on my blog. If you’re stuck on what to get someone from Christmas and they love really REALLY great products I suggest you purchase one of these gift sets for someone. Every single product I have tried from L’Occitane has been so different in a good way.
I’m always trying new lotions or face creams and my skin loves it. Everything that I use makes my skin so soft and youthful looking. I’m only 26 but you know what I mean! And the prices are great so it’s worth it. It’s like I’m having a spa day at home every time I open a new product from L’Occitane. Click the links below to check out the new holiday products. If you’re looking for beauty products under 50 and you want a variety I would check out TJ Maxx. The one on Boylston St. in Boston has such a huge selection and all of the small soaps and body wash would make perfect stocking stuffers. Happy Holidays everyone!

*This perfume smells SO good. I’m always looking for new scents so I know the woman in your life would absolutely love this.
Serum infused cloth mask….Sounds weird right? Well it is but my face loved it. The pack comes with four face cloths that should last for one month when used weekly. Made with 100% natural fiber cloth this mask provides deep conditioning for your skin along with lasting hydration. It took me a second to get the mask on my face but once it’s on just lay back and relax for 10-20 minutes. Once you take the mask off massage the remaining product into your neck and hands. For those of you who suffer from dry skin this mask would definitely help. My apartment felt like the spa! Sunday afternoon mask treatments and relaxation. No better feeling.
Fig + Yarrow Rose and Vanilla tinted lip blush – I love the scent of vanilla and rose and this comes in a cute little tin can so it’s easy to throw in my bag.
Alba Botanica papaya enzyme facial mask – I really don’t like how this product feels on my face. When I put some on it felt like my face was burning off. Some people really like enzyme face masks because it gives their skin a deep cleaning but it’s just not for me.
Fig+Yarrow clay mask (white)- The smell is odd but I love how it feels on my skin. I don’t use masks that often but when I do it’s usually on a Saturday or Sunday to get rid of all that dirt from the week.
SW Basics mini makeup remover – The miniature size works for me but if you wear a lot of makeup I suggest buying the full size. It doubles as a moisturizer too. Normal makeup wipes can’t remove my mascara all the way so I was impressed when it came off on the first try.
Glossier Balm Dotcom– At first I was hesitant to put this on my face because it was so heavy and sticky. But after a few days of using this I really like it. My face becomes dry during the day and this provides heavy duty protection and last throughout the day.
Danielle from Shades of Danielle was kind enough to chat with me about her skincare routine from day to night.
1. When you wake up in the morning what products do you use on your face?
When I wake up in the morning, I wash my face with Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser. It feels really smooth and nice on the skin and makes me feel super clean. Then I’ll use my Clarins Multi-Active Day cream as a moisturizer. Lastly, I’m currently using Benefit’s Puff Off under my eyes to brighten them up for the day.
2. Do you use any products during the day to keep your face fresh?
Sometimes I’ll use a toner during the day to rid myself of oil. I’ll either use the Clarins Extra-Comfort Toning Lotion or the Lush Tea Tree Water toner. However, if I’m out and wearing a lot of makeup I’ll just touch up with a Nyx Green Tree Blotting Paper.
3. What moisturizer do you swear by?
My Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream!
4. What is your nighttime routine?
At night, I’ll either use the same cleanser or Lush’s Ocean Salt Scrub if I want to mix it up and exfoliate more. I follow that with The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion and a Shiseido eye cream.
5. Any new beauty products you just started trying?
I actually just got the Lush Tea Tree Water toner so I’m still trying that out as well as the Puff Off. I also got Lush’s Mask of Magnaminty which I still need to try!
