My BaubleBar jewelry came in the mail! I’ve met a lot people who can’t stop raving about the website so of course I picked up some stuff for myself. I bought the Flamenco Drop earrings in Periwinkle and the Celestial Ribbon Choker. I wore my Flamenco Drop earrings to High tea and that was all I needed to dress up my outfit. The right accessories can make your outfit 100% better and the Flamenco Drops are so fun and colorful. I have my eye on the red Crispin Drops for the summer, they would go perfectly with my rompers and summer outfits. I wore my Celestial Ribbon Choker a few times and I’m in love with it. I was so late to the choker trend but now I’m fully on board and obsessed.
On another note, I broke out my slides again! These were definitely an impulse purchase from DSW as is everything else I get from there. The brand is Chinese Laundry and they’re very comfortable. I’m still into the slide trend and that’s not stopping for me anytime soon. Before you head out, click the link in my sidebar to check out the website and buy some stuff for yourself. BaubleBar has some really great deals so click the sale link first.

The story behind this sweater is a short one. The sweater arrived in the mail completely wrong. Only one sleeve had the poms on it so I took it to my cleaners for some alterations. I really like the end result with the two poms on the each sleeve. Poms on sweaters were big in 2016 but I’m bringing it with me into the New Year. Also, Happy New Year! This is the time of year we really try to push ourselves to start those new year’s resolutions.
I want to accomplish a lot of personal goals this year. I want to open myself up and meet new people. I can be very shy at times and I’m not sure why. I’m a very outgoing and loud person it’s strange when that just switches off. I also don’t want to worry about what people think so much. Ashley from Brunch on Chestnut had a great post about personal goals and one was to stop comparing her blog to others. I learned that my work isn’t the same as others. We all have goals so I need to focus on mine and stop stressing out.
And finally I need to squeeze in ME time when it’s necessary. I tend to worry so much about others I forget that I need a little TLC too. I plan to schedule more mani/pedis and massages for myself. Thank you for reading. Make sure to subscribe to my blog for new post updates!
There’s so much to love about Boston! Born and raised a city girl, It’s exciting to see how much the city has changed over the years. So many new stores to shop at, restaurants to try, and boutiques to discover. There’s also a ton of new apartments popping up in the city and surrounding areas. People are finally starting to notice how exciting Boston is.My favorite time to be in the city is during the fall. The foliage here in the city and up north in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont is so beautiful. If you ever plan to visit Boston in the future I would be happy to share some recommendations. I’m excited to have teamed up with Boohoo to create a Boston City Guide. I’m sharing my favorite go-to restaurants, parks, and neighborhood. Thank you Boohoo for letting me share my favorite parts of Boston with my readers!
1. What neighborhood should people visit and why?
I’ve mentioned this a few times before in previous blog post but the South End is my favorite part of the city. It’s so relaxing and all of my favorite brunch spots are down there. The streets are filled with small boutiques too. If I ever had the chance to move to the South End I would in a heartbeat.
2. The best restaurant for foodies?
Barcelona wine bar is one of my favorite places. The tapas are absolutely delicious! The Brookline location is gorgeous and more spacious.
3. Favorite park?
The Public Garden is my favorite park in the city. The city keeps it so clean and beautiful year round. It’s the perfect spot to sit and eat a quick breakfast and drink some coffee with friends.

This weather is beautiful, isn’t it! I’m in love with this cool fall breeze because I can finally wear my boots. I never know what to expect with this weather but since October is next week, I know I’ll be wearing my boots constantly. I kept a few of my boots in good shape so I don’t need to buy a ton of new shoes. One of my favorite things to do is go shoe shopping so why not dedicate a blog post to the top five shoes I want right now. Click the ShopStyle links below to browse.
Next week I head back to Paris!!! YAY!!! These Asos boots are coming with me on the trip. Comfortable travel shoes are a necessity when you plan on walking around during your vacation. Where are some of your favorite places to buy fall shoes? I like DSW, Asos, and Loft. Also, if you guys have any restaurant or bar recommendations for my trip I would love them!
1.Coach shearling coat 2. Silk Pajama Top 3. Blanket Cape 4. Ankle Booties 5. Tan Slides 6. Check Square Scarf
I love writing my currently craving series because 1. I want every single thing I put on the list and 2. It makes me SO happy to start a new season and find new fashion trends. Right now I really want a shearling coat like this one from Coach. You would assume shearling is heavy and weighs down your shoulders but this coat is the complete opposite. It’s very light and warm, perfect for winter in Boston. I kind of want to buy a silk pajama top like this one from the J.Crew fall collection. People always gravitate towards dark colors during the fall but I like the Warm Almond color the most. I’m not sure if I can pull the look off but it doesn’t hurt to try.
I have one cape from Asos and I want to add another so it won’t be so lonely in my closet. This plaid blanket cape from The Gap might be the perfect addition to my fall collection. I love that the cape comes with a belt so I don’t have to constantly adjust it. I need to buy all new shoes for this season, Sole Society has an affordable selection of fall booties. When I buy fall/winter shoes I wear them until they break. That’s not really a bad thing because it’s money well spent. I really like the tan ankle booties in taupe. Lastly, I’m eyeing these Kristin Cavallari slides in tan! Which one do you guys like best? Tell me and I might end up buying it – LOL!

This Labor day weekend consisted of Netflix and comfortable clothes. I also did a little fall shopping in the city too. I love holiday weekends because everyone is out of town and tourist aren’t crowding the stores and streets. I stopped in Nordstrom Rack and Gap to pick up some necessary fall staples. I like to do my seasonal shopping in small batches so I can put the outfits together in my head. I have to make sure all of my clothes match up with a majority of my shoes and purses. A few weeks ago I bought this swing dress from Asos for $20. They always have sales and this is the best time to grab some fall items from their website. Below are a few of my favorite fall picks from Asos right now.
Let me start this post off by saying I love a good weekend brunch. I live for a great breakfast and some hot coffee (with almond milk of course). For such a tiny person I know how to eat and I have no shame in that. Sometimes I’ll even eat a snack before my meal or while I’m preparing dinner. You get it I love food… I wanted to share a few of my favorite brunch places in Boston for all of the readers who aren’t from this area. I personally like going to the South End for brunch.
My favorite spot is South End Buttery on Shawmut Ave. Their garlic parm fries are the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and photos of dogs are placed throughout the space. The weekends are very hectic so reserving a spot for brunch is necessary. Tremont 647 is another spot I love. Their brunch and dinner are absolutely delicious. Every time I go here I’m never disappointed. Also, they have a tasty fried chicken meal my boyfriend and I are obsessed with.
One weekend I tried to eat at Stephi’s on Tremont and it was full. So I crossed the street and had brunch at Metropolis. Since then I’ve grown to love the place and the diner like feel it has going on. *side note* Can I fill you guys in on something? So a few weeks ago I tried to use this face wash and moisturizer, I won’t say the brand but my face broke out TERRIBLY! If you find a beauty routine and products don’t ever switch it up. For about a year I’ve used Glossier cleanser and coconut oil I get from Amazon. Anyways… I would love to meet people who are obsessed with brunch like me? What are some of your favorite brunch spots around the U.S or wherever you may be?!

I’ve always dreamed of having a personal stylist handle my wardrobe. Sometimes picking out outfits and buying clothes can be so dreadful and that’s where Trunk Club comes in. When Trunk Club reached out to me I was so excited! I’ve followed this service for a while now and I’m so happy I got to try it first hand. How does it work?
1. Sign up and get connected with a personal stylist who will reach out to you by phone or e-mail to understand your clothing needs.
2. You’ll then receive an e-mail from your stylist with items you can expect in your trunk.
3. Confirm the clothing selected for you then expect a trunk full of clothes in the mail. What’s great is that you’re only charged for the clothing you keep. No extra fees!
Trunk Club’s stylist want to know who you are and your personal unique style. Services like this push you to try different items you normally wouldn’t look at in the store. Trunk Club has clubhouses in Dallas, DC, LA, and NYC if you want to meet with a stylist in person and get the ultimate experience. The one thing I loved most is that my stylist really wanted to listen to me. It’s very rare that you get the chance to talk with someone one on one and tell them what you like or dislike about your wardrobe. I hope you enjoy my favorite outfits from the trunk below!

Special thanks to Trunk Club for collaborating on this post!
When the weather is beautiful and the sky is clear there’s nothing you can do but sit outside and appreciate it. This past weekend we lost an hour of sleep due to daylight savings time and I really really hate when that happens. Every time I looked down at my watch it hurt to see the day go by so fast. Also it was so hard to wake up this morning but I’m not sure that has to do with the time change. Overall I think my weekend was pretty great. I spent the weekend getting a massage, eating lunch at my one of my favorite spots South End Buttery, and shopping for new bath products at Follain. Not a bad way to spend your weekend. This Asos dress is great for work during the warmer months and it’s also on sale! Asos has a huge selection of cute, comfortable and affordable workwear.

The holiday season has finally arrived. I love this time of year for so many reasons. One main reason is that I’m able to whip out my best outfits for holiday parties or family events. Instead of running in and out of stores to find the perfect outfit, check your closet and see what you can mix and match. I have so many items I haven’t worn yet so this is the perfect time to take advantage of it. My family always keeps Thanksgiving and Christmas small. But I do plan on getting dressed this Thanksgiving (shocking). These three looks I created on Polyvore I would actually wear to a holiday party. They all are very casual looks, but can still be appropriate for a function with the right accessories.
