Dress: H&M, Shoes: DSW
I’ve read a few articles lately about Instagram Bots boosting people’s social media egos. This New York Times article published on June 6th talks about how people purchase these services that automatically like, comment, and follow users for you. I know this has been an issue for a while now, but the fact that it’s still happening is very concerning. Your social media presence should be authentic. In the past year, I’ve learned to stay true to yourself and your brand. Of course, we all want thousands of followers to love your work, but what happened to influencers growing their following organically?
I have a decent following and I’m happy people even care to follow my social accounts. I’ll always stay true to who I am and post about things I truly care about. The moral of this post is to always be yourself no matter what. On another note let’s talk about my outfit! This mustard color dress is from H&M from a few years ago. Their workwear collection is my favorite and the material is great. My heels are from DSW obviously because half of my shoes are from there. Thanks for reading guys. Make sure to comment and tell me what you think!
June is almost here and it’s my birthday month! A majority of my looks will be dresses and skirts just so you know. I wanted to share this dress from H&M I purchased a few years ago that I just found in my summer clothes bin. I love a form fitting dress with a little bit of flare. The shoes are my rose gold flats from Primark. Shop similar styles below!

I’ve met a few people who tell me they love opening their windows in the fall because they sleep better that way. I do NOT like to be cold!! I love snuggling up in blankets and sweaters during the fall/winter months. I feel bad for anyone who has to touch me during the winter because my hands are like icicles. I’m currently on the hunt for new chunky sweaters and new places to buy them. Once you get in a routine and find the right stores to buy your clothes from it’s so hard to break that habit. Fall has finally set in and it came out of nowhere. I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t prepared at all. I felt that cold breeze and looked at the calendar and saw that October was here. Where did the year go?
Asos is my favorite online retailer so naturally half of my closet is packed with clothes from there. The point is I need somewhere new to buy my fall clothes! Even though I frequently shop at H&M, there’s a large selection of sweaters to choose from so I can always depend on that store. This chunky pink sweater looks so warm and cozy. I love thick turtlenecks so I can snuggle my face inside. I don’t shop at Free People but I really like this chunky sweater too. Where do you guys like to pick up your fall clothes? Leave some suggestions in the comments.

This weather is beautiful, isn’t it! I’m in love with this cool fall breeze because I can finally wear my boots. I never know what to expect with this weather but since October is next week, I know I’ll be wearing my boots constantly. I kept a few of my boots in good shape so I don’t need to buy a ton of new shoes. One of my favorite things to do is go shoe shopping so why not dedicate a blog post to the top five shoes I want right now. Click the ShopStyle links below to browse.
Next week I head back to Paris!!! YAY!!! These Asos boots are coming with me on the trip. Comfortable travel shoes are a necessity when you plan on walking around during your vacation. Where are some of your favorite places to buy fall shoes? I like DSW, Asos, and Loft. Also, if you guys have any restaurant or bar recommendations for my trip I would love them!
Two weeks until September and it’s so crazy to think how fast the summer months have gone by. Designers have released their fall campaigns and websites have started selling fall clothes. I’m excited to shop for new leather booties and chunky knit sweaters. I really like the Fendi ankle booties the most. They’re casual and look super comfortable. I’m really starting to fall in love with Need Supply Co. Their website is so simple and clean and the items they sell really stand out to me. Their new fall arrivals are gorgeous too! What are some of your favorite place to shop during the fall? I love Zara, Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and H&M. Check out some of my favorite pieces below. Hope you enjoy!

Now that summer is here I have no excuse to stay indoors. I want to enjoy as many outdoor activities as I can and try new brunch spots and restaurants. Boston in the summer can be so beautiful. Waking up to warm weather and clear skies is the best thing.. Summer also means a closet refresh for me. I need a weekend to go through everything I’m keeping and items I want to give up. I was browsing through my closet and I saw this jumpsuit I bought about a year ago at a small boutique in Brooklyn. I was on my way to brunch and I saw this beauty. I wasn’t even looking for a new jumpsuit but I knew it would be perfect for a night out. And I actually wore it that same night out for drinks in the city. I rarely shop at boutiques and this was one of those times I found a gem. Below are some other floral jumpsuits I’m loving right now!
I have so many clothes in my closet I rarely wear. Which is absolutely terrible, I love all of my clothes! I think it has to do with my lack of closet organization (it took me forever to unload my fall/winter sweaters). This outfit combination has been in my head for quite some time so I thought what better time than now to document it. The faux suede skirt was a cheap find from H&M ($5 dollars!!!) and I found the Max Studios shirt from Marshalls. I like how the blue and white striped shirt paired with the mahogany brown skirt. The Zara shoes were the pop of color the outfit needed.

I’ve never really shopped at J.Crew until recently. Over the past few weeks I found some really cool items and I think I’m falling for the brand. I picked up a white cashmere like sweater from J.Crew factory at the Assembly Row Outlets a few weeks ago and I knew I needed to get my hands on some more stuff. There’s a consignment store in Davis Sq called Found, I saw this blue turtle neck J.Crew sweater (above) on sale and I immediately purchased it. The fabric is so soft and the color is perfect for the winter. I would love to pick up a few more items before the new year arrives. It’s looking like my next purchase is this shawl-collar coat in neon tangelo.
