Here in the cold, I can’t help but think about how close spring is. I noticed last week at 5pm it was still light outside. I’m ready for the sun to stay out longer and my skin to finally look healthy again with the help of some vitamin D. I keep thinking about this place here called Richie’s Slush and that’s what I’m looking forward to the most. Warm nights with a slush or some ice cream in my hand- my favorite flavor is cherry.
I really do wish I could just hop on the plane and be somewhere warm with a drink in my hand. For now I’ll patiently wait for the trees to bloom and warm weather to roll in. Shop similar styles below.

My BaubleBar jewelry came in the mail! I’ve met a lot people who can’t stop raving about the website so of course I picked up some stuff for myself. I bought the Flamenco Drop earrings in Periwinkle and the Celestial Ribbon Choker. I wore my Flamenco Drop earrings to High tea and that was all I needed to dress up my outfit. The right accessories can make your outfit 100% better and the Flamenco Drops are so fun and colorful. I have my eye on the red Crispin Drops for the summer, they would go perfectly with my rompers and summer outfits. I wore my Celestial Ribbon Choker a few times and I’m in love with it. I was so late to the choker trend but now I’m fully on board and obsessed.
On another note, I broke out my slides again! These were definitely an impulse purchase from DSW as is everything else I get from there. The brand is Chinese Laundry and they’re very comfortable. I’m still into the slide trend and that’s not stopping for me anytime soon. Before you head out, click the link in my sidebar to check out the website and buy some stuff for yourself. BaubleBar has some really great deals so click the sale link first.
There’s so much to love about Boston! Born and raised a city girl, It’s exciting to see how much the city has changed over the years. So many new stores to shop at, restaurants to try, and boutiques to discover. There’s also a ton of new apartments popping up in the city and surrounding areas. People are finally starting to notice how exciting Boston is.My favorite time to be in the city is during the fall. The foliage here in the city and up north in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont is so beautiful. If you ever plan to visit Boston in the future I would be happy to share some recommendations. I’m excited to have teamed up with Boohoo to create a Boston City Guide. I’m sharing my favorite go-to restaurants, parks, and neighborhood. Thank you Boohoo for letting me share my favorite parts of Boston with my readers!
1. What neighborhood should people visit and why?
I’ve mentioned this a few times before in previous blog post but the South End is my favorite part of the city. It’s so relaxing and all of my favorite brunch spots are down there. The streets are filled with small boutiques too. If I ever had the chance to move to the South End I would in a heartbeat.
2. The best restaurant for foodies?
Barcelona wine bar is one of my favorite places. The tapas are absolutely delicious! The Brookline location is gorgeous and more spacious.
3. Favorite park?
The Public Garden is my favorite park in the city. The city keeps it so clean and beautiful year round. It’s the perfect spot to sit and eat a quick breakfast and drink some coffee with friends.

This weather is beautiful, isn’t it! I’m in love with this cool fall breeze because I can finally wear my boots. I never know what to expect with this weather but since October is next week, I know I’ll be wearing my boots constantly. I kept a few of my boots in good shape so I don’t need to buy a ton of new shoes. One of my favorite things to do is go shoe shopping so why not dedicate a blog post to the top five shoes I want right now. Click the ShopStyle links below to browse.
Next week I head back to Paris!!! YAY!!! These Asos boots are coming with me on the trip. Comfortable travel shoes are a necessity when you plan on walking around during your vacation. Where are some of your favorite places to buy fall shoes? I like DSW, Asos, and Loft. Also, if you guys have any restaurant or bar recommendations for my trip I would love them!
1.Coach shearling coat 2. Silk Pajama Top 3. Blanket Cape 4. Ankle Booties 5. Tan Slides 6. Check Square Scarf
I love writing my currently craving series because 1. I want every single thing I put on the list and 2. It makes me SO happy to start a new season and find new fashion trends. Right now I really want a shearling coat like this one from Coach. You would assume shearling is heavy and weighs down your shoulders but this coat is the complete opposite. It’s very light and warm, perfect for winter in Boston. I kind of want to buy a silk pajama top like this one from the J.Crew fall collection. People always gravitate towards dark colors during the fall but I like the Warm Almond color the most. I’m not sure if I can pull the look off but it doesn’t hurt to try.
I have one cape from Asos and I want to add another so it won’t be so lonely in my closet. This plaid blanket cape from The Gap might be the perfect addition to my fall collection. I love that the cape comes with a belt so I don’t have to constantly adjust it. I need to buy all new shoes for this season, Sole Society has an affordable selection of fall booties. When I buy fall/winter shoes I wear them until they break. That’s not really a bad thing because it’s money well spent. I really like the tan ankle booties in taupe. Lastly, I’m eyeing these Kristin Cavallari slides in tan! Which one do you guys like best? Tell me and I might end up buying it – LOL!

This Labor day weekend consisted of Netflix and comfortable clothes. I also did a little fall shopping in the city too. I love holiday weekends because everyone is out of town and tourist aren’t crowding the stores and streets. I stopped in Nordstrom Rack and Gap to pick up some necessary fall staples. I like to do my seasonal shopping in small batches so I can put the outfits together in my head. I have to make sure all of my clothes match up with a majority of my shoes and purses. A few weeks ago I bought this swing dress from Asos for $20. They always have sales and this is the best time to grab some fall items from their website. Below are a few of my favorite fall picks from Asos right now.
A few years ago I started to appreciate watches more and now I wear one every single day. I feel incomplete when I forget my watch at home. At the moment I’m really into my new JORD Wood watch . When I first saw the Fieldcrest Green Sandalwood watch I really liked how clean it looked and the packaging is pretty cool too. I knew the color and style would work perfectly with my chunky knit sweaters and leather jacket in the fall. Wood watches have become extremely popular this season and I can see them getting more popular as the seasons go by.
I teamed up with JORD for this fun giveaway. The winner will receive a $75 e-voucher and everyone who enters will receive a 20 e-gift card (excluding the winner). Click the link below to enter the giveaway and good luck!

So far I’m loving the weather in August and I hope it stays like this until mid-September. My favorite part about August is when the sun goes down and there’s a cool breeze that reminds me that fall is very close but NOT that close you know. My heart broke a little when I saw Halloween decorations out in TJ Maxx! I’m really not ready for summer to end I want it to last forever. I’m trying to enjoy my weekends as much as I can before I have to bundle up again for a few months.
Last Sunday Newbury Street shut down the roads allowing pedestrians to walk in the street. If you’re from Boston you know how annoying the sidewalks on Newbury Street are during the summer. Packed with people and tourist, it’s awful if you’re there to do some serious shopping. It was the perfect summer day for lunch outside and a walk through the park. This Primark dress was only $9 and the shoes were $19. The purse is from Asos, I bought it a few years ago but Asos has really good deals when it comes to their purse selection.
I really fell in love with these Primark platforms in the store. I think the peach color is perfect for summer and it makes your pedicure look 100 times better. Where did you guys pick up your favorite little white dress? I would love to know!!

Welcoming the month of August with a new set of my favorite pins. The month of July flew by! I can’t help but think about how close fall is. My Pinterest is filled with beautiful photos lately which is giving me a lot of inspiration when it comes to photography and my blog. I really love the pom pom trend happening and I think these heels are gorgeous with a few pom poms on them. I also like how they’re paired with white dress pants. The second photo is of a JORD wood watch. I’m working on a collaboration with them and I’m really excited to review it for everyone.
The third picture is a small preview into my fall Pinterest board. I really need a new fall coat and I’ve always loved this style paired with a simple turtle neck and some booties. The fourth picture is a cute shirt dress with tassels on the bottom. I have a similar dress from Mango and I love it. I like to see different versions of shirt dresses and the tassels add some flare. Picture 5 is something I wish I could have if I wasn’t so bad at taking care of flowers. I love flowers but I’m terrible at keeping them alive. I’m making it a goal of mine to finally keep my flowers alive!
Photo number 6 is a floral romper that would be a super cute look for date night during the summer. Picture 7 is some beach inspiration I added to my personal style board . The thought of all white on the beach is so calming to me. Flowing culottes, sun hats, and loose camis is the perfect beach look. I really want to find the perfect pair of fringe jeans but I can’t seem to find an affordable pair. This look in the 8th picture is something I would totally wear during the fall. Also UGH I don’t want to think about fall right now. The last picture is cute cami slip dress with a basic tee. I think I’ll try this look out during the fall months. To see all of my pins make sure to follow me here!
I’ve always dreamed of having a personal stylist handle my wardrobe. Sometimes picking out outfits and buying clothes can be so dreadful and that’s where Trunk Club comes in. When Trunk Club reached out to me I was so excited! I’ve followed this service for a while now and I’m so happy I got to try it first hand. How does it work?
1. Sign up and get connected with a personal stylist who will reach out to you by phone or e-mail to understand your clothing needs.
2. You’ll then receive an e-mail from your stylist with items you can expect in your trunk.
3. Confirm the clothing selected for you then expect a trunk full of clothes in the mail. What’s great is that you’re only charged for the clothing you keep. No extra fees!
Trunk Club’s stylist want to know who you are and your personal unique style. Services like this push you to try different items you normally wouldn’t look at in the store. Trunk Club has clubhouses in Dallas, DC, LA, and NYC if you want to meet with a stylist in person and get the ultimate experience. The one thing I loved most is that my stylist really wanted to listen to me. It’s very rare that you get the chance to talk with someone one on one and tell them what you like or dislike about your wardrobe. I hope you enjoy my favorite outfits from the trunk below!
