Here is part 7 of my Favorite Pins series featuring items I’m #currentlycoveting for the Spring/Summer 2017 season. I’m into high-waisted denim at the moment because I bought new Levi’s on Amazon for $26. The best feeling is finding something you love at a decent price especially when you’re shopping. Levis have always been my favorite brand and you can never have enough denim right?? I’m also stuck on this big sleeve, shaggy blouse trend that’s happening.
I think it’s a relaxed classic look without being too formal. Straw bags are a must for summer and I really like the bucket style because they hold more. I need a large bag to throw my swimwear and wine into for beach days. This spring/summer I want to constantly be in denim, carry around tote bags, and wear sandals. This set of pins is what I want my wardrobe to look like and I WILL make it happen!

I’ve always dreamed of having a personal stylist handle my wardrobe. Sometimes picking out outfits and buying clothes can be so dreadful and that’s where Trunk Club comes in. When Trunk Club reached out to me I was so excited! I’ve followed this service for a while now and I’m so happy I got to try it first hand. How does it work?
1. Sign up and get connected with a personal stylist who will reach out to you by phone or e-mail to understand your clothing needs.
2. You’ll then receive an e-mail from your stylist with items you can expect in your trunk.
3. Confirm the clothing selected for you then expect a trunk full of clothes in the mail. What’s great is that you’re only charged for the clothing you keep. No extra fees!
Trunk Club’s stylist want to know who you are and your personal unique style. Services like this push you to try different items you normally wouldn’t look at in the store. Trunk Club has clubhouses in Dallas, DC, LA, and NYC if you want to meet with a stylist in person and get the ultimate experience. The one thing I loved most is that my stylist really wanted to listen to me. It’s very rare that you get the chance to talk with someone one on one and tell them what you like or dislike about your wardrobe. I hope you enjoy my favorite outfits from the trunk below!

It’s summer time so there’s no harm in writing multiple blog post about the beach. Many of us will be on the beach every weekend so we need a place to find some beach day inspiration. I’m always browsing for new bikinis, sun hats, cover-ups (you name it, I have it saved in my bookmarks). Recently I came across Adore Me and they have such a great selection of bathing suits for all sizes in a variety of different prints and styles. I personally love a two piece bikini. The Melodie two piece has the crochet style with a mix of colors to make that tan pop. Another favorite is the Joanna Push-Up two piece bikini, I really like the stripe detail and the different shades of blue.
Adore Me has tons of bathing suits to choose from so I’m sure you’ll fall in love with one. Check out their swim collection here and the hashtag #beachdaymusts on Instagram to see what everyone is bringing to the beach.

Here I am wearing another print! I seriously can’t get enough of colors and prints this summer. Bright colors work with my skin tone so I had to get this Old Navy cami dress. I have a sense when Old Navy is having a sale and that’s how I ended up with this dress. I love that the Old Navy’s clothing has transitioned over the years, adapting to the times and current trends. Old Navy literally has everything you need for every occasion. These Kate Spade heels are new and looked really great with the dress so it made sense to pair them with the outfit. I found the heels at the Gilt warehouse sale in Boston, they were originally $350 and I bought them for $70.
Make sure to check out the Old Navy’s website to see what’s new on clearance or weekly discounts. I’m a discount shopper and I’m always on the hunt for a good deal. When I purchased this dress it was $15. Besides the dress selection at Old Navy I also really like their fitness line. I like to wear my workout clothes around the house during the summer. Boston summers can be super humid so I need comfortable clothing. Some of my favorite picks here, here, and here!

My new denim skirt from TopShop is so gorgeous! I love how I can dress it up or down depending on my mood. The skirt works so well with baggy shirts so I purchased this racerback t-shirt from Marshalls specifically for the skirt. I’m starting to notice that the new pieces I’ve purchased can transition into fall clothes as well, YAY! Also these Jessica Simpson heels are SO comfortable. Of course I got them at DSW for a great price too!!
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
THIS IS NOT A DRESS!!!! It’s a men’s XXL shirt from goodwill with a belt from h&m tied around my waist. And it was only $5. I didn’t think it would look this cute but kudos to me. It was definitely a risk buying this shirt because this could’ve been the ugliest outfit.
Faux suede is always a good idea. Well I’m into anything that involves a racerback. This look is very laid back which is perfect for the summer. The various selection of faux pieces I have in my closet excites me because I have so many options this summer. I like to purchase tops I can see going with other items in my closet and this top can go with my high-waisted shorts, dark denim skinny jeans, or flared jeans. I’m obsessed with the fit of boyfriend jeans and since Zara was having a huge sale I decided to buy these as well. The heels are from Asos and they’re about a year old. These are the most comfortable pair of heels I own and I’m obsessed with them. Not to mention black goes with everything!
