Dress: H&M, Shoes: DSW
I’ve read a few articles lately about Instagram Bots boosting people’s social media egos. This New York Times article published on June 6th talks about how people purchase these services that automatically like, comment, and follow users for you. I know this has been an issue for a while now, but the fact that it’s still happening is very concerning. Your social media presence should be authentic. In the past year, I’ve learned to stay true to yourself and your brand. Of course, we all want thousands of followers to love your work, but what happened to influencers growing their following organically?
I have a decent following and I’m happy people even care to follow my social accounts. I’ll always stay true to who I am and post about things I truly care about. The moral of this post is to always be yourself no matter what. On another note let’s talk about my outfit! This mustard color dress is from H&M from a few years ago. Their workwear collection is my favorite and the material is great. My heels are from DSW obviously because half of my shoes are from there. Thanks for reading guys. Make sure to comment and tell me what you think!
One pieces are everywhere right now and I want to buy a few for myself but I’m not sure it’ll work with my body frame. I’m not uncomfortable with my shape or anything but some bathing suits look better on other people. I think the last time I wore a one piece bathing suit I was probably in elementary school. Brands like Topshop, Ted Baker, and Dolce Vita are making gorgeous designs and styles and I linked some of my favorites below. Nordstrom has an endless selection of one piece bathing suits. My favorites are number 2 and number 6. I like my bathing suits to stand out and those two would look great with tans.
The Metallic Dolce Vita one is so bold I might have to buy that one when it goes on sale! The Ted Baker ruffle one-piece (number 3) is perfect for a chill beach day with your girls. Orange might be my go-to color for summer! What do you think? Which ones are your favorite? Let me know if the comment section!

Iced coffee is the best way to start your morning in the summer. I wanted to try different ways to make my iced coffee fun and delicious and I found this recipe for coffee ice cubes. You probably have seen them all over Pinterest so if you have an ice-cube tray and left over coffee you should make some!! The first step of course is to make the coffee. It doesn’t matter what the brand is just make sure it’s cooled off before you pour it into the tray. Let the coffee cubes sit overnight.
Honestly Yum (link provided below) used chocolate powder but I prefer chocolate sauce. Warm 1 cup of milk and pour it into a cup and stir until the chocolate sauce is all mixed in. Next put as many coffee cubes as you want in your cup. Finally add your milk to the cup and make sure it’s warm so the coffee cubes can melt a little. Enjoy!
also my boyfriend takes all of my photos because he’s the best 🙂

It’s summer time so there’s no harm in writing multiple blog post about the beach. Many of us will be on the beach every weekend so we need a place to find some beach day inspiration. I’m always browsing for new bikinis, sun hats, cover-ups (you name it, I have it saved in my bookmarks). Recently I came across Adore Me and they have such a great selection of bathing suits for all sizes in a variety of different prints and styles. I personally love a two piece bikini. The Melodie two piece has the crochet style with a mix of colors to make that tan pop. Another favorite is the Joanna Push-Up two piece bikini, I really like the stripe detail and the different shades of blue.
Adore Me has tons of bathing suits to choose from so I’m sure you’ll fall in love with one. Check out their swim collection here and the hashtag #beachdaymusts on Instagram to see what everyone is bringing to the beach.
Special thanks to Adore Me for collaborating on this post
A few weeks ago Rue la la had a pop up event on Newbury street with blogger Jacey Duprie of Damsel in Dior. I just got back from France the night before so I was extremely jet-lagged but I was determined to meet her so I sucked it up and went. Cotton and Rue la la collaborated on a limited edition capsule collection filled wit dresses, rompers and t-shirts. I saw this polka dotted shirt dress on Jacey and I decided to try it on. Everyone on the Cotton team told me to get the dress, It looked so great on me. I don’t think I ever owned anything with polka dots on it but they were really tiny so I could deal with it.
When I first saw this dress I felt like I should be at a beach house in The Hamptons sipping on some cold Rosé, which doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I tried the dress on and ran towards the Ipad station to pre-order it! The dress is longer available but you can click the link below to take a look at other Alicia Bell shirt dresses.

Now that summer is here I have no excuse to stay indoors. I want to enjoy as many outdoor activities as I can and try new brunch spots and restaurants. Boston in the summer can be so beautiful. Waking up to warm weather and clear skies is the best thing.. Summer also means a closet refresh for me. I need a weekend to go through everything I’m keeping and items I want to give up. I was browsing through my closet and I saw this jumpsuit I bought about a year ago at a small boutique in Brooklyn. I was on my way to brunch and I saw this beauty. I wasn’t even looking for a new jumpsuit but I knew it would be perfect for a night out. And I actually wore it that same night out for drinks in the city. I rarely shop at boutiques and this was one of those times I found a gem. Below are some other floral jumpsuits I’m loving right now!
Cyc Fitness has an awesome program starting this week (June 20th-June 27th) called The Fitness Collective. You get to try 6 local fitness studios at a discounted rate for one week. This is the perfect opportunity to try different workouts like barre, bikram yoga, boxing, or spin. Sign up fee is $75 dollars and it’s so worth it. You get to work out parts of your body you didn’t even know existed and you might end up leaving a studio loving a particular workout.
The Fitness Collective also offers a 15% discount to local companies such as Pressed Juicery, Pure Glow, PlateJoy, and Miniluxe. I always wanted to try Barre and I had the opportunity to finally visit the studio. I never knew how hard it was and I definitely respect everyone who does this workout on a daily basis. If you’re looking for an intense body sculpting workout routine barre is definitely it. Click the pictures below to pick up some items from Nike to get you ready for your summer workout routine. *The shoes I posted below are sold out but I love working out in my flyknits and I highly recommend them for gym sessions.

I’m always looking for inspiration when it comes to my clothes, I have a board on Pinterest dedicated to personal style. I was very excited when eShakti reached out to me because they have a great selection of summer dresses. Embroidery and off the shoulder dresses are very popular this season so of course I immediately wanted this dress. eShakti lets you customize your order so everything fits just right. Also, their customer service is spectacular which is very important to me so that just made me love the brand even more. This dress could also work as a beach cover up if you don’t feel like wearing it throughout the day.
Check out some other summer dress options here, here, and here!

Hello June, and helloooo beautiful weather! The weather is slowly getting warmer so it’s time to prepare for beach days. When it comes to packing for the beach you always need simple items that can easily slip on and off like espadrilles or sandals. I recently bought these yellow espadrilles from Soludos. A slip-on shoe is perfect for the warmer months and very easy to wear.
I want to buy a new bikini and I really like the crochet look. It’s not a new trend but it’s still good to have multiple bathing suit options. Shirt dresses could be another alternative for a beach cover up. I wouldn’t wear this Olivia Palermo shirt dress after I get out the water but I would wear it to the beach. I’ve been eyeing it for some time now so I might buy it soon.
Another beach item you MUST have is a sun hat. During my trip to Florida I desperately needed something to cover my head and I regret not bringing my hat with me. It really does work wonders and you can enjoy your beach day without getting extremely hot. I keep gravitating towards stripes lately and this Lovers and Friends skirt from Revolve is perfect if you’re planning a trip with your boyfriend to The Hamptons, or the Cape. Honestly it works wherever there’s beach houses and restaurants really. Pair it with a white cami and some wedges and you’re good to go.
Lastly, every beach trip needs the perfect beach bag. I just bought a straw beach bag from loft a few months ago and I can’t wait to use it. I usually put my stuff in a really big tote bag so it’s refreshing to finally own an official beach bag. What are some of your beach day essentials? Comment below and tell me what’s some of your favorite things to bring along.
